Custom
Cabinets or Whatever You Want.
This monster is 6' 4" tall and
almost 8' from end to end. The center of the cabinet is 16" deep and has 2
fixed shelves and 3 adjustable shelves. The two sides start at 16" deep and
taper back to 12" and each have 2 fixed shelves and 4 adjustable shelves. I
made this from 3/4" Red Oak Plywood and trimmed it with wood from the ol'
woodpile. It's fastened with wood screws covered with wood plugs, #8
finishing nails, and wood glue. It's custom designed and built to customer
specs and looks great!
Add
Another Dimension.
It's designed with a top that
fits flush with the top of the molding and makes this an awesome 8' tall!
There is a 15' vault in the ceiling of this house and it looks smaller than
it is. It's attached to the wall and trim is added to make it look like it
belongs to the house. The cost of this was about $1400. Every project is
different and cost may vary. Click on the pictures to see larger images.
I
only build one at a time.
I'm very proud of what I do and
do not rush. You might have to wait. Nice work takes time. Custom designs
may take longer. I made the top for this twice. It just didn't look right
the first time. Function, proportion, and style played a huge role in
the design. I was supposed to paint it white when it was complete... I
refused. I gave the customer a brush and said, "You'll have to do it first!"
As you can see, it is not white.

Now I'm just showing off!
I built this with hand tools. I
used my skill saw and a straight edge for all the long cuts, miter saw for
the miters, and router for everything else. No table saws or big equipment.
I build it all in my little two car garage. When I do these projects,
I get a regular flow of neighbor's stopping to see what I'm up to.
