Custom Playset Designs by Jack S. Bowser.

No fancy space names.. no blueprints.. one of a kind. These are some of my favs. They usually  start with a crude drawing, my mind travels, I'm allowed to run, and this is what happens. This is the extreme side of what I do. These types of projects are not for everyone. An open mind and a generous budget help. My attention to detail follows with anything I build. I accept design ideas without insult, but I often have to remind myself and others, it's not furniture.

I Build Swing Sets Because It Brings Me Peace.

I'll build almost anything and I'll build it to last. It's not about the money. It's about the sense of pride I feel when I stand back and look at what I've done and how I've played a part in a child's life and their parents. I go into it knowing your kids will never remember me, but they'll always have a memory because of what my hands allow me to do. I feel this way about everything I build. Getting paid is a result of my craft. I'm not rich, but I'm a pretty happy guy.

I build redwood forts and swing sets one at a time.

I would build swingsets for free if it paid my bills. My best option...I build for your kids and make you pay. Swingsets are made in the order deposits are made. Paying more will not advance delivery of your family playset. Offering to help will cost you more. Offering to pay less will get you a dial tone. Offering to pay more than expected will make me think you're weird.

I prefer natural woods for swing sets

I'll build with any type of wood you can get. If you have to ask if chemically treated wood is safe, you've answered your own question. Pressure treated is more economical and it can be used for playsets, but my preference is a natural wood playset. It's safer for me, for your kids, and for the environment.  I try to build for resale. A properly chosen natural wood fort/ swingset will last 7-10 years and maybe more. Resale can be be 50%-75% if properly maintained.
