Under the Canopy

Welcome to my little corner of the woods! Over the years, I've crossed paths with some good people, interesting businesses, and useful resources. Some are directly connected to what I do here at Jack's Backyard, while others are simply things I enjoy and think are worth sharing.

Under the Canopy is where I've gathered them together. You'll find trusted businesses, fellow craftspeople, helpful websites, and a few things that might seem a little out on a limb.

Take a look around. You never know what you might find beneath the trees.

Playset Services —
We Make Backyards Fun!

Playset Services LLC is a Texas-based company specializing in backyard playsets, swing sets, and custom treehouses. Over the years, we've helped families create new backyard spaces, relocate existing equipment, and keep their playsets in good working condition.

Our services  include installing and assembling new backyard playsets , trampolines, and playhouses; moving wooden and metal swing sets ; repairing and maintaining existing equipment ; and building custom playsets and treehouses. We also offer used playground equipment when available.

Playset Services serves Houston, Austin, Columbus, and surrounding areas of Texas. Our workmanship is backed by a 90-day labor warranty. Visit Playset Services to learn more about our services and available projects.

While Jack's Backyard focuses on DIY plans, design, consultations, and educational content, Playset Services operates as a separate service business providing professional installation, construction, relocation, and maintenance.

OtterWorks USA — Hardware for Your Backyard Projects

OtterWorks USA is my online store for DIY playset hardware kits, swing set parts, and project plans. It's the companion to Jack's Backyard, where I develop the plans and share the techniques behind building your own backyard projects.

---

My Endeavor, Apollo, Triton, and Gemini playset plans are available through Jack's Backyard, with matching hardware kits available through OtterWorks USA.

These kits bring together the specialized fasteners and components you'll need, saving you the trouble of tracking everything down individually. Whether you're building one of my designs or looking for parts for your own project, OtterWorks is a place to find the hardware and supplies to help get the job done.

Visit OtterWorks USA  to explore the available plans, kits, and parts.
