Dripping Springs Funtime Family Treehouse
Anytime a client reaches out to me for a backyard playset or custom treehouse, my attention is instantly ready for the next project. At the Dripping Springs Funtime Family Tree House my clients were not sure what they wanted to build, but they knew they wanted a backyard treehouse. In their search for a tree house builder, they came across Jack's Backyard and a few months later this family had two treehouses, one for Mom/Grandma to view sunsets at the Sunset Lookout Treehouse and this large recreational treehouse that was not just for the grandkids, but the entire family.
The focus of the this multi-tree tree house build was for the kids, however we wanted easy access to to the main deck so we made a series of platform decks that wound under and around the tree to get to the 12' main deck. This main deck is large enough for a campout or a cool place to observe the local wildlife. Access from the main deck to the alternate 7' deck is via a stationary bridge with two swings underneath and once you get to the smaller deck we we find a 14' scoop slide and 7' inclined rock climbing wall.
If that's not enough that we packed this thing with a ton of fun, but as we were building one of the adult children told us she was a rock climbing enthusiast and wanted to know if we could build a 15' vertical rock wall. Obviously we can and did as you can see in the pics. We created a removable gate so that kids wouldn't tumble out of the access opening.
We're pretty proud of this Backyard Texas Treehouse. Check out the images to see how to build a treehouse Texas style.
